About Rajasthan

The word Rajasthan itself states what it is. Rajasthan in Hindi means the place of Kings. Hiduism is the major religion in Rajasthan. Rajasthan is famous for its forts, architecture and beautiful paintings. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan. The famous Darga of Ajmer and desert of Thar are also situated in this state. Jaipur is also called as pink city and is well known for forts and palaces. The Hawa Mahal, is situated in Jaipur.

About Maharastra

Maharastra is situated in northern part of India. Mumbai is the capital of this state. Maharastra shares its borders with Arabin Sea on the west, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarath on the north, Madhya Pradesh on the east and Andhra Pradesh and Gujarath on the south.
Maharastra is one of the major populated states in India. People speak Marathi, Hindi and English in Maharastra. Maharastra is also famous for its courage and braveness since the ancient times. Marathas were the only people who succesfully exploited the Mughal rule in India. Even the british were not able to envade into India, untill they defeated Marathas. About Kerala

Kerala, The 'Land of gods' is situated in southern part of India. The word 'Kerala' means, The Land Of Coconuts'. It is bounded by Arabian Sea on the west and western ghats on the east.
Almost the entire state of Kerala is covered by palm treees. Kerala has the record literacy rate of 99.99%, the highest in India.
Kerala has fourty four rivers flowing through it. It is declared as one of the ten paradises found in the world by National Geographic Traveler.
The ideal time to visit Kerala is ----any time in the year. Thats right, you can visit Kerala anytime in the Year and you can enjoy the place through out the year. Because, Kerala never changes with the climate.

About Tamilnadu

Tamilnadu is the 11th largest state in India and is situated in the southern part of the country.
Chennai is the capital of Tamilnadu. Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English are the major languages spoken here. Tamilnadu can be divided into five major areas.
1. The Kurinji also called as mountainous regions

2. The Palai can also be called as arid region

3. The Neidhal can also be called as costal region

4. Marudham can also called as Fertile plains

5.Mullai or Forest region

Tamilnadu shares its boundaries with Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Bay Of Bengal.
The famous Pulicat lake is situated in the state of Tamilnadu.
Kanyakumari, which is the end of Indian Land on the south is also situated in Tamilnadu.

About Karnataka

Andhra Pradesh is one of the major states of South India with an area of 275,068 Sq Km and population of 66,508,854. Hderabad is the capital of Andhra Pradesh. It is also called ANNAPURNA(major food supplying state of India).

Hyderabad is the capital of Andhra Pradesh. It has a Coastline of around 1000km. Andhra Pradesh shares it boundaries with Tamilnadu on South, Maharashtra on North, Karnataka on the West and Bay Of Bengal on the East.

Andhra Pradesh can be divided into 3 main regions.

1. Costal Andhra

2. Rayalaseema

3. Telangana


Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Ongole and Nellore districts come under Costal Andhra.

Kurnool, Cuddapah, Chittoor and Anantapur districts come under Rayalaseema.
